I currently serve as Kalamazoo’s office managing partner and couldn’t be more enthusiastic about this role. Supporting our community and developing our great staff are two passions of mine—this opportunity gives me the ability to continue to make meaningful contributions in both areas. I’m also the partner-in-charge of our commercial industry practice within the office.
I provide a wide range of services, including financial statements, benefit plan audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as tax and general business advisory services and I’m part of our professional standards team. Many of my clients are family-owned and internationally-owned manufacturing and distribution companies, middle-market privately owned construction companies, and K-12 school districts.
I try to give every client my undivided attention. Each client is important to me, and I want to make sure they feel this. My aim is to provide them with service that goes beyond their compliance needs. And my relationships with my colleagues are just as important. They know me for being responsive, dedicated, and always available in case they want to discuss any concern, be it personal or professional.
I belong to the AICPA, the Michigan Associations of CPAs, the Michigan School of Business Officials, and the Colorado Association of Business Officials. I received my B.S. and my M.S.A. from Western Michigan University.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, as well as friends. In addition, I enjoy golfing, traveling, and cooking.
