I specialize in providing consulting services to wealthy families. I provide holistic advice, including how to structure an investment portfolio to achieve one’s goals, given all aspects of a client’s balance sheet. This includes asset allocation, manager search & selection, performance evaluation, estate tax, income tax, and insurance considerations.
Our clients appreciate my over 30 years of experience, including serving for over 10 years as the Chief Investment Officer of PMFA. I have a deep, technical knowledge of investment consulting and the financial planning aspects of wealth management. I sincerely enjoy making a difference in people’s lives. And it’s not only about improving their investment performance, but rather helping them to better understand how to plan for the future and aligning their goals with an appropriate strategy to achieve them.
I started with PMFA in 1991 and have been blessed to work with talented partners and staff who have allowed us to grow from 12 people to over 180 today. I continue to enjoy serving our clients, being a part of our leadership, chairing our Alternative Investments Committee and fostering staff development at the firm.
I often speak with clients and conferences on a wide swath of investment topics including hedge funds and alternative investments. I was named to Crain's Detroit Business’s “40 under 40” in 2004 and Barron's “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors” in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. I have a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
