The most important aspect of my career is the privilege to serve my clients — to be their first call when dealing with a financial or personal issue. The deep relationships I’ve developed with my clients — some of whom I’ve known for over 20 years — provide a satisfaction that I couldn’t find simply working as a "technical resource."
At different points in my career, I’ve been a specialist in income tax planning, estate planning, and investment planning. This background allows me to discuss technical topics in a multidisciplinary manner. I’m also a voracious reader on everything from the markets and the economy to geopolitics and sports. I also love music and movies. So I’m ready to chat on just about any subject — a skill that helps me connect with just about anyone.
I belong to the AICPA and the MICPA. I’m a past president and founding member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Macomb. I am a member of the Board of Directors for Loyola High School. I graduated from the University of Michigan–Dearborn with a B.B.A. in accounting and finance.
After spending 10 years coaching my three kids in various sports, I’m rediscovering my own hobbies. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, golfing, and skiing. I also love a good bonfire — I built a fire pit in my yard — with good music and good company.
