As the leader of our nearly 200 team members of the assurance practice in the Rocky Mountain region, I specialize in advising clients on financial best practices and industry trends. I have extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions and a variety of technical accounting matters related to the healthcare and insurance industries. Most of my clients are commercial health care services entities with private equity ownership, as well as commercial insurers, health plans, health systems and large physician practices.
The ability to work with people is what attracted me to this career. Healthcare has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy being part of an industry that is fundamentally designed to help people.
After more than 25 years in this profession, I have had many successes. I am proud to have been part of the team that built and expanded our healthcare practice. I take a lot of pride in serving my clients and developing staff, including leading our nearly 200 audit team members in the Rocky Mountain region.
I belong to the AICPA (Association of International Certified Professional Accountants), the Colorado Society of CPAs, ACG (Association for Corporate Growth), and Colorado Healthcare Strategy & Management. I have previously served as chair of UNC’s Accounting Program Advisory Council and the Audit Committee for the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA). In 2019, the COCPA named me a Leaders of Note through their “Women to Watch” awards and the Colorado Women’s Chamber has previously named me an ATHENA nominee.
I received my B.S.B.A. in accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and my M.B.A. from Colorado State University.
When I am not assisting our clients, my personal interests include spending time with my family, including golfing with my daughter.
