As a leader in our firm’s healthcare practice, I’m responsible for providing attestation and consulting services to healthcare clients throughout the country. I not only serve our clients by providing audit, review, and examination services, but also by providing industry expertise beyond compliance. While I specialize in serving larger, multicampus organizations, my client base includes both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. I also focus on serving senior living organizations that provide home health, hospice, and affordable housing services.
My clients appreciate that I work hard to provide them with an efficient and effective audit while also providing valuable industry-specific solutions. They value my industry focus and, even when I don’t have all the answers, I have experts at my fingertips who will know the answer to whatever worries them.
Occasionally, I talk to clients and their boards about the upcoming accounting and auditing changes as well as industry trends and benchmarks. I belong to the AICPA, the Ohio Society of CPAs, LeadingAge Ohio, and the Ohio Healthcare Association, and I volunteer with the finance committee of I am Boundless. I received my B.B.A. and my M.S.A. in accounting information systems from Eastern Michigan University.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife and three kids. We enjoy Ohio State football games, playing basketball, fishing, and biking — and have very competitive game nights. One of my favorite activities is golfing with my son.
