As the Southeast Michigan tax solutions leader, I specialize in various federal tax credits and incentives, primarily research and development tax credits, employee retention credits, and business income deductions, and employ cost segregation strategies. The majority of my client base falls within the manufacturing, A&E, technology, and construction worlds.
Because I grew up in the family restaurant business, I’ve learned valuable skills that I employ in my job today. I love meeting new people and providing exceptional service to my clients by helping to bring value to their organizations by improving their cash flow. My background also applies to my role as a colleague — co-workers know me for being high-energy and upbeat.
My greatest accomplishment in over 10 years of experience is recruiting staff at various universities. This has helped us grow from eight team members to more than 60.
I have a B.A. in finance from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. with an accounting concentration from Walsh College. I serve as board member and treasurer of Jehona e Malësisë, a not-for-profit public charity, and I belong to the AICPA and the MICPA.
When I’m not working, I enjoy golfing, entertaining friends and family, and spending time with my kids.
