As a member of the firm’s manufacturing and distribution practice, I advise executives on strategies to maximize the value of their companies. I manage a variety of financial statement audits of privately-owned companies, including experience managing financial statement audits of publicly-traded companies; I’m also deeply involved in helping clients with technical accounting issues.
My clients appreciate that I have a broad business background with expertise in technical accounting. That combination allows me to brainstorm solutions with key executives to a variety of operational, strategic, and financial challenges.
With more than 12 years of experience, I’ve been asked to present at industry conferences, for example, the CAT Dealers Finance Conference and the AICPA Controllers and Global Manufacturing Conference, on technical accounting issues. Additionally, I’ve had several whitepapers and articles published on business-related topics.
I belong to the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, ACG Denver Chapter, and the Colorado Advanced Manufacturing Association. I earned an advanced certificate and bachelor’s degree in accounting from Purdue University, an MBA with a specialty in finance from the University of Colorado Denver, and a certificate of international business from Peking University in China.
Outside of work, I spend time with my wife and three sons. I enjoy fly fishing when it’s warm, skiing when it’s not, and Cross-fit year-round.
