As a leader in our financial services practice, I provide services to private equity, venture capital, and asset management companies. I also serve health systems and middle-market privately owned businesses with a focus on private equity-owned businesses.
Whether it’s dealing with changes in accounting guidance, dealing with complex transactions, or simply educating clients’ staff on best practices, my clients appreciate that I take a practical approach when serving them.
Before entering public accounting, I had no idea how important people skills were in this industry. The relationships I’ve made with clients and co-workers keep me excited about public accounting. My clients appreciate that I’m personable and not just completing a checklist; and, at the office, I’m known as a mentor to my fellow working parents.
With more than 15 years of experience, I regularly speak to clients and boards on industry topics and best practices, including as a panelist on the firm’s Women in Leadership initiative. I belong to the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). In 2021, I won the prestigious Servant Leader Award during the Rocky Mountain Region Annual Meeting.
I graduated from Grove City College in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in accounting.
When I’m not at work, I’m typically taking my three children to their activities. On weekends, you can find my husband, Ryan, and I on a group run with the kids biking alongside or at the playground to burn some energy. I completed the Boston Marathon in October 2021 and ran to raise funds for charity as part of the corporate division team in the Colfax Marathon Relay in May 2022.
