February 28, 2020 / 1 min read

Partner Lou Longo was reappointed to a second term with the Department of Commerce’s District Export Council.

We’re pleased to share that Partner Lou Longo, leader of our firm’s international consulting practice, has been reappointed to a second term with the federal District Export Council (DEC). Lou was appointed to this position by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross. Council members are typically known for global trade leadership in their communities, experience with international operations, and expertise in export development. These export experts provide guidance to their business communities and support to the Department of Commerce on export development issues.

Because of Lou’s active participation in his local DEC, he was also recently reelected as the vice chair of the Illinois DEC.
