With more than 10 years of experience, I’m known for my tax expertise in the manufacturing and distribution and service industries, where I specialize in internationally active businesses such as portfolio companies of U.S.-owned companies with foreign subsidiaries, foreign clients with inbound and outbound transactions, private equity groups, and family businesses.
My clients range from single-location service providers to organizations that manage more than 100 locations throughout the United States and abroad. They appreciate that I’m part of their team and look for opportunities that benefit them. My primary goal is to proactively look out for my clients’ interests, respond to their questions promptly, meet all deadlines, and ensure there are no surprises — all while valuing their time and building our relationship.
Teamwork is important to me and a motivating factor in my work. Around the office, colleagues know me for my willingness to tackle difficult technical issues. In fact, being able to problem solve issues and find solutions to difficult issues as part of a team was one of the reasons I was initially attracted to this career. My greatest accomplishment is the teams I’ve been part of and the careers I’ve helped build.
I have a B.B.A. from Baker College and an M.S.T. from Walsh College. I’m a member of the AICPA and the MICPA, and I serve as a director for a local club that works with youth every week during the school year.
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, playing games, and being outdoors with my husband and three kids.
