My clients appreciate that I’m very transparent and honest with them and willing to empower them with the education and knowledge to be successful. I encourage and prompt them to think through problems and find their own solutions.
One of my proudest accomplishments with the firm is building the data analytics practice to where it is today. We made the calculated decision to invest in smart young graduates who think the right way and ask the right questions. That policy is really paying dividends.
I speak at numerous user groups and conferences in Colorado and across the nation, and my focus is on innovative solutions, thought leadership, alternative perspectives, and challenging the norms of data preparation and analytics. This speaks to the often-ignored question of “why” an initiative is being pursued. On the “what” side, I often present and demonstrate for technology partners such as Informatica, Alteryx, IBM, and Tableau, as well as lead training and workshops for prospective clients.
I received my B.S. in management science from the University of Wales-Swansea with a focus on numerical algorithms and marketing.
Most of my time outside of work is spent with my wife and two boys. I enjoy running, boating, woodworking, and wakeboarding. I’m a level 200 certified rugby coach, and I coach the Austin Huns youth tackle teams. I’m also a certified running coach through both the RRCA and USAFit, where I coach and provide customized training plans for a marathon training group.
