I was attracted to this career for the variety of work and the relationships with others. After all, tax isn’t sitting at a desk behind a computer screen. It’s getting out of the office and being on location. It’s building strong relationships with individuals, touring facilities, and looking for tax-saving opportunities that businesses can take advantage of.
In the more than 10 years I’ve been with the firm, I would consider my greatest accomplishments to be helping build mentors and advance the tax team in Cleveland. Working alongside the younger staff has always been one of my top areas of focus, and seeing the team grow has been a highlight in my career.
I belong to the AICPA, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and Women in Manufacturing. I received my B.A. and my M.B.A. in accounting from Baldwin-Wallace College.
When I’m not working for clients, I enjoy working outside, attending sporting events, crafting, and spending time with family.
