I have more than 20 years of experience in creating, growing, and providing professional services to meet multiple needs of CEOs, CFOs, and CIOs. Much of my work has been with high-growth clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, and not-for-profit industries. I’m passionate about building innovative, successful teams composed of passionate, competent, and servant-minded consultants to help serve the unmet needs of entrepreneurial, growing businesses. Recently, I was featured in a cover story for CIO magazine discussing how data analytics is a strategic differentiator for businesses.
Clients often refer to me as an “interpreter,” and I consider that a compliment because I believe that technology shouldn’t be a mystery to any decision-maker being asked to make such investments. I’m also very passionate about creating talented teams with multiple perspectives and experiences to develop transformative business solutions and to effectively guide our clients through change. With these thoughts in mind, I created our firm’s annual Rocky Mountain tech summit to educate our clients on evolving technology trends that impact their businesses, and to provide practical perspectives that they can incorporate immediately to see increased alignment of technology strategy with business strategy, and improved returns on technology investments.
I’m a member of the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs, and I’m proud to be a board member for Little Help, a local nonprofit that connects neighbors with seniors, empowering them to thrive independently in their everyday lives. I received my B.S. in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
My only daughter has named me “Dad of the Year” for 10 years running, so feel free to ask me all about her! My family and faith are great passions of mine. Living in Colorado, I enjoy most outdoor sports and activities. At heart, I’m a “small-town” guy and a “water-baby”, having grown up in small to midsized towns on Lake Michigan and in Indiana before moving out to Denver and enjoying all that the Rocky Mountains have to offer.
