Experience
As a partner in the firm’s National Tax Office, I advise clients on the tax aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and other complex transactions. I specialize in partnership taxation and work primarily with private equity-backed companies across many industries, REITs, real estate, and construction companies.
My approach combines technical tax expertise with practical business judgment to develop transaction structures that align with my clients' objectives while maximizing after-tax value. I have extensive experience structuring acquisitions and exits, resolving complex partnership tax issues, and structuring management services organization (MSO) to optimize tax efficiency upon exit.
I received my B.A. in accounting from the University of Colorado. I belong to the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs.
