Experience
As a manager in our National Tax Office, I focus on emerging and policy issues and consult on complex federal tax issues, especially as they relate to plane and yacht ownership and energy tax credits. I draw on my tax, appellate, and trial litigation experience to support the firm’s awareness of impactful issues as they develop in Washington, and to make technical concepts practically valuable to clients.
Clients appreciate the care I take to deliver thoughtful, in-depth advice in clear terms. Each client’s needs are unique, and one of my favorite things about Plante Moran is how the firm’s culture and “one-firm firm” approach make it easy to best serve those unique needs.
I have a J.D. and a Tax LL.M. from Northwestern University and a B.A. from Augustana College. I serve as a Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Tax Policy and Simplification Committee.
