I approach each day with an owner’s mindset, and that’s what I’ve brought to every client conversation for more than 15 years. I understand the bigger picture that a business faces and provide technically accurate, practical solutions to address the tax matters of their operations and transactions. It’s been humbling to see the growth of our energy practice during my time here, and I’m honored to have played a small role in molding staff into future partners.
I’m a member of the AICPA, Colorado Society of CPAs, and the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies. I’m also a board member of The Morgan Adams Foundation, a nonprofit that funds life-saving childhood cancer research. I graduated from the University of Denver with both by B.S. and M.S. in accounting. Given my expertise in the energy sector, I am frequently asked to speak to clients, their boards, and at industry events about developments in tax law and their long-term financial impacts.
I like to spend my free time with my wife and two kids. We love riding bikes, golfing, playing tennis, and traveling together. I’m known around the office for both working hard and playing hard.
