I’m the tax director of the Kalamazoo office, and I provide tax compliance, planning and business advisory services. My clients are primarily privately held commercial businesses in the manufacturing and distribution and services industries.
My clients appreciate that I proactively identify tax-planning ideas and explain them in a way that’s easy to understand. In fact, I often speak to their boards on a variety of tax topics. Lately, we’ve spent a lot of time discussing tax reform and its impacts.
While some professionals might lose their cool when they’re up against a tight deadline or facing a complex challenge, I’m known for keeping a positive outlook. I’m very fortunate that I’ve been with the firm more than 20 years, and I still enjoy coming to work every day. I’ve built deep relationships with many clients, and I love to see their businesses grow.
