I have more than 40 years of oil and gas experience, including time in the industry as a corporate tax director. I was attracted to this field because I was pretty good with numbers, but over the years, it evolved into a role where I increasingly enjoyed the service end and was willing to tackle any project that clients needed help with. Those who know me say I’m pretty even-keeled both at work and at home. I’ve been involved in many different projects over the years, so chances are, I’ve been there and done that — in a good way! At the firm, I’ve helped launch the energy practice along with many other talented professionals.
I’m a member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) and chaired the Rocky Mountain COPAS tax committee for two decades. I also sat on the board of Think 360 Arts for Learning, a nonprofit that helps to provide creative learning experiences for students and teachers in the arts for many years. I attended the University of Michigan where I received a B.A. in music education and a M.B.A. in business administration.
I’m a big Denver Nuggets basketball fan and typically attend more than half of the team’s home games. I like to spend time in the mountains hiking and fly fishing and doing everything I can with my two boys (men, actually), and granddaughter.
