I advise clients in the design and implementation of customized estate plans that set up beneficiaries and future generations for success while considering family dynamics, asset protection, and estate and income taxes.
My expertise includes gift and estate tax planning, including strategies to transfer wealth during life which helps clients feel fulfilled seeing loved ones and charities benefit in addition to reducing taxes. I also lead the firm’s gift tax return practice. My clients are high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business owners.
An estate plan is the playbook for who, what, how, and when a person’s assets are distributed — assets they have worked their life to grow. It’s gratifying to be involved in such an important process and help clients construct a tax-efficient plan that accomplishes their wishes. My clients appreciate that I simplify complex concepts and help them understand the pros and cons of the various ways to pass on wealth to family, friends, and charities, allowing for easier decision-making. Around the office, I’m known for my ability to digest complex situations and provide practical solutions.
I graduated with a B.S.B.A. in finance and a minor in entrepreneurship from The Ohio State University and hold a J.D. and M.Tax. from the University of Akron. I belong to the Ohio State University Estate & Gift Planning Professional Advisory Council.
