My goal is to provide value by not only answering the obvious questions, but by digging deeper to uncover all potential impacts on a client’s business and provide solutions for underlying issues. In other words, I try to make the technical side of tax issues easier to understand, and as a result, often serve as a client’s de facto tax department. I work with clients in a variety of industries, including mining, technology, bioscience, and manufacturing and distribution.
I have more than 28 years of tax and accounting experience and in addition to leading our ASC 740 practice, I’ve also helped grow our energy group.
I’m a member of the AICPA and Colorado Society of CPAs and received both a B.S. in accounting and M.S.T from the University of Colorado. In addition to internal firm trainings, I’ve spoken publicly numerous times over the years on tax changes.
Like many, I love to travel and believe most things are enjoyed more outdoors — I’m an avid skier, hiker and motorcycle rider.
