I’m a leader in the firm’s services practice, and the leader of the technology practice group. With over 27 years of experience, I consult with several of the firm’s larger and more complex clients engaged in business-to-business transactions in different sectors within the services industry, including technology and tech enabled services and other business and professional services. The clients in my portfolio are typically SaaS, software developers, data processors/hosts, technology consulting and tech enabled servicing companies. I counsel clients on the most effective use of technology to improve their financial reporting capabilities, implement business analytic and business intelligence concepts, and develop cash flow models.
My clients appreciate that I consistently look for ways to help them improve their businesses. I like to think this is because I’m a candid communicator and, when I present a case, I try not to force my ideas. Rather, I approach it from a place of experience and conviction that my clients come to trust.
I’m also passionate about innovation. I assist my clients with the strategy, implementation, and execution of their innovation efforts. As the chair of our firm’s audit and tax innovation committee, I’m always focused on ways for our own team members to advance their skills and enhance the client experience. I’m thankful that Plante Moran has built its own culture around innovation. This inspires all of us to have a sense of purpose as well as a long-term strategic vision.
I belong to the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. I received my B.S. in economic management from Albion College.
