With more than 10 years of public accounting experience, I’ve served a variety of governmental and public sector clients. I provide a wide range of services, including consulting, financial statement audits, program and performance audits, and general business advice.
I’m also a member of the firm’s professional standards team for the governmental industry. I’m often asked to present at both internal and external training covering a variety of governmental topics, including upcoming accounting standard implementation and legislative items.
Clients recognize my collaborative nature, and quality client service is my priority— whether it’s improving internal controls, designing financial accounting policies, helping to implement new accounting standards, or developing procedures to oversee compliance with federal grant requirements. I’m a member of the AICPA and the Michigan Association of CPAs, and I participate in many community events. I received my B.S. in business administration from Central Michigan University.
With three boys (four, including my husband), I’m significantly outnumbered. With the high energy level in our household, most of my free time is spent being active outside — playing sports, camping, riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling, swimming, and everything in between.
