I help a diverse group of clients meet their goals of taking their organizations to the next level. Whether through value optimization or implementing new accounting standards, I work alongside my clients to provide job organization and management, training and supervision of staff, and frequent communication along the way.
My clients primarily include software and tech-enabled service companies as well as professional services firms. My clients range from private-equity-held growth-stage companies to internationally active owner-managed companies. I also spend time in the not-for-profit industry and work with research and development organizations, health and human service organizations and private foundations.
I was attracted to a career in public accounting because of the opportunities for continuous learning and building relationships with clients and coworkers. My clients appreciate that I bring a practical approach to complex matters and listen to their goals and motivations. Around the office, I’m known for being friendly, open-minded, and always willing to pitch in to get the job done.
In my more than 14 years of experience, aside from surviving 2020 while working at home with three young kids, my greatest accomplishment has been the development and progression of the talented team that I work with. I’m a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, where I’ve lead trainings on revenue recognition and several other technical topics. I’ve done the same internally at the firm as well. I received both my B.A. and M.S. in accounting from Michigan State University.
When I’m not helping clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, whether it’s on vacation or at home on the couch. As a family, we enjoy exploring new locations and making frequent trips to my mom’s lake house where we spend lots of time outside and on the water.
