Navigating the No Surprises Act: Key insights on prescription drug reporting

The No Surprises Act (NSA) mandates group health plans to report prescription drug and healthcare spending to the Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services and the Treasury.

The No Surprises Act (NSA) was signed into law as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA). It includes transparency provisions that require group health plans to report information on prescription drugs and healthcare spending to the Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services and the Treasury. This reporting process, known as prescription drug data collection, or RxDC, report, is due by June 1 each year.
