Founded in 1891 as a not-for-profit outreach of the United Methodist Church, OhioHealth has grown to include 35,000 associates, physicians, and volunteers; 15 hospitals; three joint-venture hospitals; one managed hospital; and over 200 ambulatory sites across a 50-county area throughout the state.
