Franciscan Care Center Sylvania — is a member of Franciscan Services Corporation and is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio. The reputation and services of this facility have improved greatly since the change in sponsorship. Plante & Moran provided financial and reimbursement projections, as well as revenue and expense modeling on a $3 million renovation project.

Providence Care Centers — Plante & Moran focused on accuracy of reimbursement filings to increase reimbursement for the nursing home and dementia facility.

Rosary Care Center — Previously an infirmary for Catholic Sisters, Plante & Moran assisted in converting it to a skilled nursing facility. Plante & Moran’s Continuing Care Team provided financial projections, Medicaid reimbursement, cost reports, and assistance in determining the overall structure.

St. Leonard — Plante & Moran assisted in the due diligence process to purchase this CCRC for 700 residents. In addition, Plante & Moran provided financing assistance, financial projections, and an internal analysis to help management make critical decisions.

Franciscan Care Centers and Plante & Moran continue to fine tune Franciscan Care Centers’ business model. With all facilities profitable, Plante & Moran will consult on future acquisitions.
