I assist clients with accounting, financial, and business risk management needs. I’m known for having expertise in accounting and finance-related services that fall outside of the assurance and tax parameters, such as financial accounting outsourcing, financial reporting, accounting transformation, accounting and financial-related special projects, internal audit services, SOX compliance, as well as other enterprise risk management services.
Clients call on our expertise when they’re experiencing significant business change and uncertainty. Situations can change suddenly or significantly, resulting in financial and accounting challenges, and our team is poised to respond quickly. Working with clients in a variety of industries, we partner with start-up organizations, organizations experiencing rapid growth and expansion, and others who are experiencing decline or divesture. It’s been rewarding to work with clients in a myriad of phases and, subsequently, learn a lot that I can hopefully pass down to others.
I’ve presented to client boards, groups of investors and stakeholders, and business organizations, including the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Financial Executives Institute, on financial and accounting topics ranging from financial internal controls to SOX compliance and new accounting pronouncements. I belong to the AICPA, the Michigan Association of CPAs, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Institute of Management Accountants. I’ve also served as a board member and treasurer with Habitat for Humanity — Western Wayne County. I received my accounting degree from U of M — Dearborn.
My number one interest is spending time with my immediate and extended family. I also enjoy playing hockey and golf, and taking family vacations.
