Clients appreciate that I’m a great listener and holistic problem-solver. With deep experience in all aspects of IT strategy and innovation, I advise clients on a range of issues, such as cloud computing, mobile technology, data analytics, enterprise architecture, and large-scale business technology projects.I’ve always had a passion for technology and teaching. That passion grew even deeper when I developed an understanding of business and industry and how to build teams to apply technology to solve business challenges. After working in Fortune 500 environments, I was attracted to Plante Moran from my first interview. I could tell that firm leadership was both caring and highly competent. When I realized the investment the firm was putting into leveraging technology, I knew this was the place for me.
Since I’ve been with the firm, we’ve begun implementing our five-year technology vision to great success, including being named as one of the InformationWeek’s 2017 IT Excellence Award winners and recognition by CIO.com as one of 100 organizations driving business and technology innovation. I’m extremely proud of our team and look forward to what we’ll accomplish in the next five years.
In 2020, I was nominated as a finalist for the MichiganCIO® ORBIE® Awards for demonstrating excellence in technology leadership. I’m a frequent presenter at IT conferences and to boards of directors on various technology matters. I’m on the IT and Cyber Security Curriculum Advisory Board of Walsh College; I’m the board chairman of the STAR User Group; and I’m a board member of the CIO Academy. I received my master’s degree in business information technology from Walsh College.
