John, a program manager with Plante Moran Realpoint, formerly Plante Moran Cresa, has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. He has experience in overseeing healthcare, institutional, and government projects. In particular, he has a deep devotion to the acute care sector because of the long-term benefits a top-notch healthcare institution provides to our society. He takes great pride in helping to create exceptional facilities.
John is currently working on Mount Nittany Medical Center’s $520 million Master Facilities Plan Implementation in Pennsylvania. Previously, he was the owner’s representative for the construction of the new Children’s Hospital of Michigan (part of the Detroit Medical Center) and various projects for Botsford Hospital, which became part of Beaumont Health (now Corewell Health). Prior to joining PMR, John was involved in many hospital projects, including those for the University of Michigan Health System, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and John Hopkins/CEPAR.
He is a Certified Professional Constructor, U.S. Green Building Council LEED-Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design; LEED AP), and a licensed builder.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management and an Associate in Applied Science in building construction technology from Ferris State University.
