Experience

I specialize in providing tax planning and advisory services to clients in the service, manufacturing, and distribution industries. I cater to many companies who are preparing for or recently underwent transactions and other equity events.

Most of my client base operates in the food space, from growers of produce and manufacturers and distributors of food to restaurants and their owners and investors. I enjoy helping companies plan for and address various business and tax complexities that occur as they undergo rapid expansion.

My clients appreciate my straightforward and practical approach to tax consulting and compliance, as well as my ability to communicate complex matters and potential risk outlay in an easy-to-understand manner. Around the office, I’m known for restaurant recommendations, fidgeting with pens, and always being willing to lend a helpful ear over a beer after work.

I’m a member of the ICPAS and the AICPA. I hold a B.S. in accountancy and a M.S., both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and exploring new restaurants and watering holes in Chicago — many of which are my clients! I’m an avid golfer and, in the colder months, I spend as much time as possible with my family in southwest Florida.
