As a benefits advisor, I work with clients to develop cost-effective benefit strategies that support and align with overall organizational objectives. My expertise includes benefits strategy, negotiations, cost control, and wellness.
At Plante Moran, I love the opportunity to bring our midmarket clients the solutions that are usually only found in large and enterprise-sized organizations. With 25 years of experience, I’ve led human resources and benefits functions at several large employers, and I’ve led both small and large employers through benefit and HR transformations.
My clients appreciate that I’m relatable — I listen for the opportunity and focus on delivering excellence. In the office, I’m known for being approachable, quick to laugh, and having expertise in my subject matter.
I have a B.A. in philosophy and French from Calvin University. I’m involved in church activities and a member of the Calvin Oratorio Society. I’m also a tax prep volunteer with VITA, the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
When I’m not at work, I love spending time on Lake Michigan and the West Michigan lakeshore. I love to travel, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with my husband, grown children, mom, and our very old dog.
