I provide assurance and consulting services for governmental units with a focus on public employee retirement systems, and I provide assurance services for ERISA employee benefit plans, specializing in multiemployer and health and welfare plans.
My clients appreciate that I provide practical solutions to issues as they arise. Around the office, I’m known for caring about each member of my engagement team and helping them develop as professionals.
I’ve always enjoyed puzzles and numbers, so accounting seemed like a good fit. Once I started at the firm, I quickly realized that assurance led to solving puzzles in many situations, which drove me to specialize in the assurance practice area. I have more than 15 years’ experience and count building trusted relationships with my clients as my greatest accomplishment. If they need something or have a question, they know who to call.
I’m a member of the AICPA and MICPA. I’m often asked to speak at Michigan Government Finance Officers Association conferences on various topics and have also presented at Public Pension Financial Forum conferences. I earned a bachelor’s degree in public accountancy from Saginaw Valley State University.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling, quilting, and spending time with my family, including my husband and two daughters.
