As a senior vice president with Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF), Larry supports the senior living sector with financial modeling and analysis for clients looking to develop new projects through asset repositioning or expansions.
Larry’s knowledge of the senior care industry comes from years of reimbursement work, which allows him to thoroughly analyze the most technical components of clients’ financial statements to provide valuable insight on optimizing reimbursement revenue and enhancing financial pro forma outlook. Clients appreciate Larry’s ability to fully understand their financial future through data-driven financial modeling.
Larry joined PMLF from Plante Moran, where he served as a senior manager. Larry spent more than 12 years providing audit and consulting services to health and human service organizations with a specific focus on senior living and continuing care organizations. In his role, Larry performed market and financial feasibility studies for continuing care retirement communities and senior living organizations involved in an expansion of services and other asset repositioning strategies. He also provided reimbursement analysis including preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for senior living skilled nursing facilities.
Larry graduated from Michigan State University with his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. Larry is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Michigan Association of CPAs (MICPA). He regularly speaks at industry conferences such as LeadingAge Michigan.
