As a senior vice president, Kyle brings more than 16 years of expertise in construction and development experience to Plante Moran Living Forward. His extensive background includes planning and managing complex projects across various sectors including senior living, healthcare, hospitality, multi-unit residential, municipality, retail, and higher education.
Kyle excels in guiding senior living clients through major capital improvement projects, from new buildings and renovations to entire campus repositions. He leads the predevelopment process, crafting tailored project approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. From initial project ideation to the grand opening, Kyle oversees zoning entitlements, program and budget development, master planning, project phasing, scheduling, AE and CM procurement, financing preparation, and construction oversight. At Plante Moran Living Forward, he has successfully planned or constructed over $500 million in senior living projects.
Kyle has developed industry-specific benchmarking tools that accurately identify building programs, sizes, and overall project budgets, linking them to revenue potential and debt service metrics. He specializes in creating aggressive yet realistic schedules, ensuring projects maintain momentum and progress smoothly towards completion. Kyle’s skills and experience across all aspects of development, design, and construction enable him to lead teams towards the successful completion of projects while safeguarding the client’s vision, budget, and timeline.
Kyle also leads the Plante Moran Living Forward's project management team and owner's representative services for projects under construction. Kyle and his team manage the draw request process, owner vendor coordination, FF&E procurement, change management, move management, cash flow analysis, AHJ submissions and inspections, and project close-out procedures.
Prior to joining Plante Moran Living Forward, Kyle served as a senior project manager at Pepper Construction and Barton Malow Construction. He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in civil engineering and architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
