Experience

As a relationship manager at Plante Moran Living Forward, Greg helps strategically connect organizations looking to position new and existing senior living communities as desirable homes for current and future residents to the right team at Living Forward. Greg offers more than 35 years of project design and construction experience and has 20 years working predominately on the owner’s side specializing in repositioning large senior living communities.

Greg’s expertise is in strategic repositioning. As an operations executive, he has overseen operating budgets of more than $20 million per year while transforming campuses through repositioning plans. He has led dozens of master planning design charrettes to create an exciting new future for residents, staff, and visitors to senior living communities. He has overseen the development of more than $500 million in new construction and renovations in the last 20 years.

Greg is a leader known for putting together great teams and leading them to successful solutions. He is especially talented at helping executive teams and boards effectively conceptualize the future of their community before spending resources on costly design and construction documents.

Formerly, Greg worked with several large nonprofit senior living providers in Ohio and Kansas and served as a vice president of the fifteenth largest life plan community in the country. He also worked as a designer and project manager for a national leader in the design of senior living campuses across the country. Greg has served, for over a year, as a board of directors for Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA).

Greg received his bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Oklahoma State University. He was licensed as a professional engineer in Virginia, Oklahoma, and Kansas; Certified Aging Services Professional (CASP); LEED Green Associate (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design); and Certified Executive for Assisted Living (Ohio CEAL®).
