Experience
In her dual role with Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF) and Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), Deanna translates complex market signals into decision-ready insights for two distinct sectors: senior living and education. She’s known for her tireless client focus, upbeat professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail — bringing uncommon common sense to every engagement and producing work that’s both precise and practical.
With PMLF, Deanna helps senior living providers and developers understand the conditions and trends shaping their markets through supply-and-demand analyses, market and consumer research, and competitive analyses. Her research equips leaders to make confident decisions during project planning and align their products, prices, and service offerings with the market.
Beyond senior living, Deanna supports PMR’s education clients by interpreting demographic trends and local conditions to forecast K-12 pupil enrollment. Her models inform budgeting, utilization, and facility master planning, helping clients plan for short- and long-term space needs. As the pupil enrollment projection study practice has grown, she’s been instrumental in creating and implementing process improvements to streamline service.
Deanna brings a variety of analytical and creative skills to the team from her previous roles as a marketing and administrative assistant, production and logistics coordinator, and other professional roles. Her experience includes market research and mapping, process improvement, consumer surveys, public relations, website and social media management, and more.
Deanna has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in public communications and cultural studies, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a leader of the firm’s Staff Resource Group Minds of All Kinds, which promotes awareness and education around neurodiversity in the workplace.
